Drs. Allan G. Farman, BDS, PhD and William C. Scarfe BDS, FRACDS, MS. provide consultative services in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology as board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radilologists in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and have spent a combined four decades in the active clinical practice of this discipline.

Dr. Allan G. Farman

Dr. Farman is the voting Representative for the American Dental Association to the International DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) Standards Committee. He is founder and Chair of the International Congress and Exposition on Computed Maxillofacial Imaging and Scientific Editor for the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He is also either on the editorial board or a reviewer for over half a dozen other journals associated with imaging.

Dr. William C. Scarfe

Dr. Scarfe is currently North American Regional Director of the International Association of Dento-Maxillo-Facial Radiology, and Treasurer, American Association of oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He is on the editorial board of the Radiology Section of Oral Surgery Oral Medicine Oral Pathology Oral Radiology and Endodontics and a reviewer for Dento-maxillo-facial Radiology, as well as 5 other journals. He has number of publications on CBCT applications in dental practice and has presented nationally and internationally on CBCT related to implants and orthodontics.
